Keren Weintraub is an artist, photographer and a photo therapist, born and live in Israel.
In her works, Keren explores the relationships between the natural and the artificial, the whole and the fragmented, the full and the empty. It re-examines archetypes related to fertility and birth, the human body, and body image.
She is fascinated by the physiological and emotional changes in the transition from childhood to adulthood, the process of separation, and transformation that begins with emergence and development of personal identity, anxiety of separation, and the blurring of boundaries between the inner and outer, between the natural and the synthetic.
Keren holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from Shenkar College (2004), studied photography at the Technion (2015), and has a certification in Photo-Therapy from Musrara – The Naggar School of Art and Society (2020).
